What are dermal fillers?

Injectable fillers are a soft tissue fillers strategically injected into the skin to help fill in and smooth out facial wrinkles, restoring a smoother appearance. They can also be used to plump, volumize, contour, and restore lost volume in the face.

What are dermal fillers made of?

They are most often made of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a sugar substance that the body produces naturally. HA fillers can be dissolved. Some fillers are made of calcium hydroxylapatite (Radiesse) or PLLA (Sculptra).

What is the down time for dermal fillers?

Dermal Fillers can improve the cosmetic appearance with little to no downtime. Injections can be administered during lunch, between errands, or on the weekends and will not interfere with regular activities. We additionally are skilled in the advanced technique of microcannulas, minimizing down time and risk for our patients.

How long do dermal fillers last?

The longevity of fillers can vary. Some fillers last 6 months and others last up to 2 years. Daily use of prescription-strength skin care products can enhance and even prolong results.

Which dermal fillers do we offer ?

Peak Image uses only the most trusted U.S. brands with proven results. We offer JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, RADIESSE®, and Sculptra®.

Why choose peak image for your dermal fillers?

Our providers have extensive experience and training with Dermal Fillers.  We have received intensive hands-on training and we are constantly perfecting our craft. We do this all day, every day, not just on the side, between surgical cases, or once in a while at a 'day spa'. Additionally, we have an exceptional safety record.

What does the treatment entail?

There is an initial detailed consultation with our provider. You will be asked to move the relevant areas of your face, note any natural asymmetry, and take photographs for your own private record sheets. A treatment plan will be curated as every patient is different and not everyone wishes to have the same end result. We use a topical numbing cream to help with any discomfort while the dermal fillers are administered. Each combined consultation and treatment lasts around an hour.
