Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and in a few days peel off.

What does the VI Peel Treat?
The VI Peel is a medium depth chemical peel, consisting a unique blend of five acids. In a little over a week, clients will see a reduction in fine lines, improved texture of the skin, decreased acne scarring, eliminated hyperpigmentation, and a refreshed appearance.
How does the VI Peel work?
The VI Peel will gently remove the top layers of unhealthy, dead skin. This allows newer, healthier skin to show, leaving a brighter, firmer, younger looking appearance. The VI Peel will also encourage the body’s natural Collagen production, further smoothing and plumping the skin.
What is the downtime?
After the VI Peel is applied, you leave the office with the solution on your face and your face looks tinted. After 4 hours the chemical peel is washed off. Your skin will feel tight but looks the same until you start to peel on day 3. You then will peel for about 3-5 days. The level of peeling varies from person to person.
Vigorous exercise should be avoided for 24-48 hours.
Moisturizer can be used during this time to help mask the noticeable appearance of peeling. While the skin is healing, it may be extra sensitive, so patients should continuously wear sunscreen with an SPF 30 or higher during the peeling process. Once the skin is fully healed, in about 14 days, patients will notice a smoother, healthier complexion.
Who can get the VI Peel?
All skin types can be treated with this chemical peel.
How often should you do the chemical peel?
If you want to receive correction from the chemical peel, a series of 3-4 treatments 1 month a part might be recommended for you. If you just want to rejuvenate your skin, or need a refresh 2-3 times a year may be recommended for you. We offer a discount for a series of treatments.
